The drop

What is MATERIAL WITNESS?: A two-piece editorial drop by COMMON HOLD × UNSPUN — a heavyweight cotton shirt and four hand-finished silk scarves, in response to the ongoing fight against HIV. 500 numbered units total. Once they're gone, the EXHIBIT closes.
Is everything really limited?: Yes. EXHIBIT 01 is a fixed edition of 500 across all pieces. Each shirt and scarf is numbered and ships with a certificate of provenance. There will not be a restock.
When does it ship?: The shirt is in presale and begins shipping in early June 2026. Scarves are released to the public early June and ship within two weeks. Orders ship from the United States.

How do I get the free scarf?: The first 50 buyers of the EXHIBIT 01 shirt receive a free silk scarf — your pick of any colorway. Add the shirt to your cart and a scarf picker appears. The scarf shows as free at checkout automatically. No code needed.
How will I know if I qualified?: If the scarf line item shows as USD 0 at checkout, you're in. Once the first 50 are claimed, the discount stops applying and the scarf picker disappears. You can still purchase any scarf at its standard price from The Silk.
Can I get more than one free scarf?: One free scarf per order, paired with one EXHIBIT 01 shirt.

How does the shirt fit?: EXHIBIT 01 is cut intentionally oversized in heavyweight cotton jersey. If you're between sizes and want a closer fit, size down. Detailed measurements are on the shirt page.
How should I care for the silk?: Dry clean only, or hand-wash cold with a pH-neutral silk wash and line dry away from direct sun. Iron on the lowest setting from the reverse. Full care notes are in the packaging guide.

Where do you ship?: Worldwide. Domestic (US) shipping is included in the listed prices during presale. International orders may incur duties at delivery, calculated by the destination country.
What's your return policy?: All sales are final on limited editions. If something arrives damaged or incorrect, we'll make it right within 14 days. Full details on the returns page.

Where do proceeds go?: Proceeds support AIDS Walk South Dallas, Texas Pride Community Foundation, Florida-based ADAP rapid-response work, and World AIDS Day coalitions. If you'd rather give directly, 100% of donations to the COMMON HOLD HIV Response Fund route to those same coalitions — donate via Givebutter.
